Have you visited a farmers' market before? They're great places to not only get some delicious, seasonal produce but you can also find artisan foods, local goods, and even learn how to connect with your community in a new way. If you're looking for one near you, you're in luck. We're providing a list of 10 Arizona farmers markets you can find across the state.

1. Bisbee Farmers' Market

This market meets every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Vista Park Plaza where you can do some of your grocery shopping for the week. They also serve breakfast and lunch options, plus you can find live entertainment here as well.

2. Gilbert Farmers Market

This market has been booming. Most days you can find more than 60 (and sometimes 100) different vendors selling a wide variety of goods. They are open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 222 North Ash Street in Gilbert.

3. Green Valley Farmer's Market

This farmers market in southern Arizona is open on Wednesdays throughout the year with hours just slightly different to better compliment the season. They hold it at the Green Valley Village in Green Valley, which is the perfect little spot to do some shopping and chat with neighbors.

4. Heirloom Farmers Market, Tucson

This nonprofit farmers market has three different events on the weekends throughout Tucson to help bring these products to the community. Plus, you can find live music, activities for the kids, and plenty of other goods. Check out their website for dates, times, and locations.

5. Payson Farmers' Market

If shopping at a farmers market in the pines is your idea of a Saturday morning well spent, you won't want to miss this. Find them after Memorial Day at 816 South Beeline Highway, just behind the Chili's, in Payson from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

6. Prescott Farmers Market

This nonprofit organization supports local farmers and helps consumers get access to food and goods being produced in their community. You can find the farmers market every Saturday morning between May and October at Yavapai College.

7. Sedona Community Farmers Market

This farmers market guarantees locally grown produce; they do on-site visits at farms and the farms sell directly at the market. In addition to the foods, you can find different activities, prepared foods, and live music.

8. Show Low Main Street Farmers' Market & Art Walk

Another great little market, this one feels like you're attending a festival almost every time you visit. Not only will you find the foods you're looking for but the art walk adds a nice flair to this community event. It takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Show Low.

9. Sierra Vista Farmers Market

Community members gather at this farmers market every Thursday throughout the year to shop and sample some tasty foods, including some interesting items you've probably never tried before. One example? Yak meat, which is what one vendor recently sold here as an alternative to beef. It is open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Veterans' Memorial Park.

10. Uptown Farmers Market, Phoenix

I've gotten some lettuce and delicious granola at this location, which is located at Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix. Visit Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
