Fall is here, so that means it's time to get out of the house and enjoy the cooler temperatures before winter hits! If you're looking for a short trail that is easy to navigate and offers beautiful views, then you're going to love these trails.
1. Baldwin Trail
This trail sits in Sedona and is an easy, family-friendly hike that everyone should be able to navigate. During this time of year, you’ll get to see beautiful leaves changing colors, Oak Creek flowing, and all those lovely red rocks.

2. Boyce Thompson Arboretum
You can definitely see fall’s changing leaves when walking through southern Arizona and this trail at Boyce Thompson Arboretum is evidence of that. The trail is easy to navigate and parts of it are wheelchair accessible.

3. Keyhole Sink Trail
This trail sits just off Historic Route 66 near Williams and is home to a lovely hidden gem. There’s beautiful basalt rocks, a waterfall, and hidden petroglyphs on the short trail. Plus the aspens sitting nearby make this trip a fun one in the fall.

4. Kinder Crossing Trail #19
This hidden trail sits on the Mogollon Rim, a short drive from Blue Ridge Reservoir. While the entire Rim area hosts beautiful fall views, we think the hike here makes for a perfect little getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. The view you see in the picture is what it typically looks like at the beginning of fall, with leaves just starting to change colors.

5. Lamar Haines/Veit Springs
A wildlife interpretive area, the trail here is easy to navigate and features beautiful views of an old homestead and plenty of trees. In the fall, the aspens look spectacular lining the trail.

6. Lynx Lake Recreation Loop
If a stroll around a lake sounds like your idea of a lovely fall afternoon, then you’re going to love this trail. Looping around Lynx Lake in Prescott, this trail looks beautiful in the fall when the trees’ leaves change to warm tones and the crowds begin to die down as the temperatures steadily drop.

7. Pine-Strawberry Trail #15
One of the more difficult trails on this list, the Pine-Strawberry Trail takes you on a lovely trip through the Mogollon Rim’s forests to show off some stunning landscape. Along the way, spot a variety of trees, some changing colors this time of year, and cool temperatures that just might give you goosebumps.
