1) Fish Creek Park
Locally known as "Big Lake Water Park" because of its outflow from Big Lake, Fish Creek Park in Big Lake is an AWESOME playground with volleyball courts, swimming holes, climbing walls... you name it, they've got it!
2) Wild Woods Park
Wild Woods Park is located in Talkeetna and was designed by a group of moms - so you know it's got to be good! The playground consists of mazes, swings, even cabins! This playground will keep both adults and children entertained for hours on end.
3) Cuddy Family Midtown Park
Cuddy Family Midtown Park is the largest park in Anchorage and feels old school with the skating lagoon and all the classics like swings, monkey bars, ropes and more!
4) David Green Park
David Green Park is in Anchorage, but is currently under construction so keep your eyes peeled for a really awesome new park that will definitely take you back to the good ol' days!
5) Elderberry Park
Elderberry Park is in Anchorage, right near the Oscar Anderson house. So if you feel like hitting two birds with one stone, check out this awesome playground and one-of-a-kind historical monument in Anchorage.
6) Valley of the Moon Park
Valley of the Moon is a HUGE park in Anchorage and features a large rocket ship shaped playground in the center for the older ones, while smaller kids have a playground of their own.
7) Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park
Not only does the Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park have a workout zone and a bike path, but the playground was restored a few years back and has great equipment for adults and children to use! Go have some fun, parents :)
8) Campbell Creek Park
Campbell Creek Park is in Anchorage and it has the best playground feature of all, a tire swing!
