If you've ever traveled down I-65 towards Alabama's Gulf Coast, you're probably familiar with Peach Park. Peach Park is located in Clanton, just off I-65 at Exit 205. It's spread across seven acres and is one of Alabama's top tourist attractions.
In 1985, Peach Park was established by Gene Gray. He thought this was a much better option for selling his Chilton County peaches than hauling them to New Orleans to sell at the French Market. In the beginning, Peach Park was a roadside fruit stand. And in 1988, they started making their famous peach ice cream.
Peach Park offers a great selection of produce, including the freshest peaches you'll ever eat.
In addition to peaches, other produce items include plums, watermelons, oranges, apples, tomatoes, beans and so much more.
Peach Park's homemade peach ice cream and fried peach pies are amazing!
And their delicious peach cobbler can't be beat!
Well, unless of course it's topped with fresh fruit from their amazing fruit bar.
If you're feeling extra hungry, try a plate of their delicious barbecue.
And there's no better place to eat it than on their lovely deck.
As you get ready to leave, don't forget to check out Peach Park's wonderful selection of homemade jams and jellies.
Also, don't forget to visit their gift shop. It offers a little something for everyone.
And finally, don't forget to have your picture taken in front of Peach Park's famous giant peach. It's an absolute must when visiting this Alabama tourist attraction.
