Madison County Nature Trail, also known as Green Mountain Nature Trail, is a beautiful park in Huntsville, Alabama that covers 72 acres.
Its primary feature is Sky Lake (pictured), which happens to be a 17-acre lake that's home to a variety of plants and wildlife. It's also a great spot for fishing.
Another feature of Alabama's Madison County Nature Trail that deserves a mention is the Cambron Covered Bridge, which crosses Sky Lake. This covered bridge was built in 1974 and offers incredible views of the lake and surrounding park from its windows.
