Thousands of visitors descend on this spot every year, particularly boaters, to watch the daredevils scale the 60 feet and jump off into the water. A great place to grab a bite to eat while on Lake Martin is Kowaliga Restaurant . This waterfront restaurant, which opened in 1953, is located in Alexander City and is accessible by both car and boat.
The restaurant serves what's called a southern comfort menu, offering seasonal, local ingredients. For example, the fresh catfish comes directly from Alabama and Mississippi farms. And don't forget to try out the weekly seafood specials.
