Ahhh...lake life. It doesn't get much better than that, especially here in Alabama. Lake Martin, located in Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa counties, is 44,000 acres with more than 750 miles of wooded shoreline. It's one of the largest man-made lakes in the U.S. and is a popular area for swimming, boating, water skiing, etc. Lake Martin has become a weekend getaway for many families from the South. There are also numerous multimillion-dollar residences located on the lake. Oh, to be so lucky!
Lake Martin is as beautiful as it gets! And for whatever reason you want to spend time on Lake Martin, whether it's to play on the water or relax under the shade, you can do it all (and then some) at this jaw-dropping place that Alabama is proud to call their very own.
