There's no better way to experience Alabama's beautiful gardens than by following the state's amazing garden trail, which begins in Huntsville and ends in Theodore. Seven gardens are located along the Alabama Garden Trail, and information about each one is posted below.

1. Huntsville Botanical Garden - Huntsville
Huntsville Botanical Garden, which covers more than 100 acres, features the nation's largest seasonal butterfly house, a variety of specialty gardens and a collection of beautiful nature trails. For more information, click here.
2. Birmingham Botanical Gardens - Birmingham
Birmingham Botanical Gardens covers 67.5 acres and showcases 12,000+ plants of 1,500 species, in addition to 25+ unique gardens. This Alabama garden is open year-round and admission is always FREE. For more information, click here.
3. Aldridge Gardens - Hoover
Aldridge Gardens covers 30 acres and features a variety of hydrangeas, in addition to a stunning six-acre lake. For more information, click here.
4. Jasmine Hill Gardens - Wetumpka
Jasmine Hill Gardens, which covers more than 20 acres, was established during the 1930s and features a unique collection of Greek statues. This unique garden is often referred to as "Alabama's Little Corner of Greece." For more information, click here.
5. Dothan Area Botanical Gardens - Dothan
