Tigers For Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain is a non-profit, 140-acre exotic animal park and rescue preserve that's home to more than 175 animals.
Because these animals were no longer wanted, or needed, by their previous owners, they're now living out the rest of their lives at Tigers For Tomorrow.
A few types of animals you'll encounter at Tigers For Tomorrow are zebras, tigers, lions, bears, etc. These aren't the types of animals you'd expect to see in this small Alabama town.
Recently, Tigers For Tomorrow celebrated the grand opening of its Big Cat Playground.
This wooded area, which consists of more than two acres, was built for the big cats, wolves and bears to frolic around in.

In 2015, Tigers For Tomorrow was named the "Shining Example Travel Attraction of the Year" by the Southeast Tourism Society.
Regarding hours of operation, it depends on the time of year you visit. For example, during March, April and May, Tigers For Tomorrow is open Friday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Click here for more information.
Admission cost is $15.00 for adults, $7.50 for children ages 3-11 and free for children under the age of 3. Visitors ages 65 and older, and current or retired military members, will receive a 10% discount. All funds are used to care for the animals.
