Akon was born in St. Louis and is a famous rapper known for many platinum and gold records. He is also the first solo artist to hold the Billboard Hot 100 Charts' First and Second place simultaneously, twice.
2. Andy Cohen
Andy was born in St. Louis and graduated from Clayton High School in 1986. He is an American talk and radio show host. He is also an author and producer.
3. Linda Blair
Best known for her leading role in the movie the Exorcist, Linda was born in St. Louis in 1959.
4. Kevin Kline
Kevin was born in St. Louis in 1947 and is a film and stage actor and singer. He's won an Academy Award and three Tony Awards.
5. Kevin Nealon
Kevin was born in St. Louis in 1953. He is a comedian and actor. He is best known for his roles on Saturday Night Live, Weeds, and in Happy Madison Films.
6. Betty Grable
Betty was born in 1916 in St. Louis. She was an actress, pin-up girl, dancer, and singer. She was in 42 movies from the 1930s through the 1940s and grossed more than 100 million dollars. In addition to the $100 million, she earned 12 consecutive years of the top 10 box office stars, setting a record.
7. Kimora Lee Simmons
Kimora was born in St. Louis in 1975. She grew up in Florissant and was the target of bullying and teasing at school because she was 5'10" tall by the time she was ten and was of mixed ancestry. She became a fashion model and fashion designer and married Russell Simmons. She took over Baby Phat as CEO for Russell until 2010.
8. Dick Gregory
Dick is a civil rights activist, social critic, writer, entrepreneur, conspiracy theorist, and actor. He was drafted in 1954 and served our country for two years. He won several Army talent shows for his comedy while he served.
9. Redd Fox
Redd Fox was born in 1966 and is best known for his role in Sanford and Sons. In 2004, he earned Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time with a ranking of 24th best stand-up comedian. He inspired many comedians and is a legend.
10. John Goodman
John was born in St. Louis in 1952 and grew up in Affton, Missouri attending Affton High School. He was awarded a football scholarship to Missouri State University. He is best known for his role in the hit tv sitcom Roseanne and acted in many movies throughout the years.
