For over 25 years, husband-and-wife team Brenda and Kerry have served gorgeous cakes to the small town of Ozark, Missouri. When they started in 1998, they were one of the only food establishments in the town. This small town bakery in Ozark, Missouri is inside their antique mall, Spring Creek Antiques, about a 20-minute drive from the state’s third largest city, Springfield. They have watched the town of Ozark grow up around them.

Brenda and Kerry have built an impressive Facebook following that totals over half the town’s population. I loved looking at their stunning layer cakes and featured specials on their page. Without a website, I called and spoke to Kerry himself to learn more about Spring Creek Tea Room. He mentioned that his wife, Brenda, probably wouldn’t admit to her wide range of talents, but she has nearly 170 different recipes for her various confections!
