Missouri is part of three mountain ranges: The Ozarks, The St. Francois Mountains, and the U.S. Interior Highlands. As a result, there are as many as 549 peaks in Missouri (you can check peakery.com if you don't believe us!). While we won't include hundreds of peaks in our list, we will highlight some of the stunning viewpoints of the mountains in Missouri that are simply breathtaking.

Overlooking Table Rock Lake, Big Cedar Lodge and Top of the Rock are tucked into the Ozarks with stunning views all around.
9. Pilot Knob Mountain
While taking in the views of the mountain, be sure to also make time to visit the Pilot Knob Historic Site and learn about the Civil War battle that took place here.
10. Taum Sauk
The highest elevation point in Missouri is within Taum Sauk State Park. The state park has gorgeous scenery, trails, and of course, mountain views.
