Do you immediately gaze at the sky, in awe, when you see a hot air balloon meandering by? Or, perhaps you call the kids to the window or outdoors to watch as the balloon slowly makes it across the skyline? Well, there's something just so magical about hot air balloons, isn't there? Embrace that magic and turn your eyes to the sky - aglow with hot air balloons - for the 13th Annual Hot Air Balloon Glow in Missouri.
Pull out your calendar because you don't want to miss this magical hot air balloon glow in Ozark, slated for Friday, June 21, 2019.
Hosted by the Children's Smile Center, the 13th Annual Hot Air Balloon Glow will be held at Finley Run Park from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Watch as the hot air balloons inflate. Get a close up look at each of the glowing balloons that will be tethered to the ground.
Unfortunately, balloon rides are not part of the evening's festivities as hot air balloon launches are not permitted at night.
But, you can still take photos of the beautiful balloons at the event that's part of the annual Sertoma Duck Race Festival.
The two-day Duck Race Festival will feature such highlights as food trucks and a children's area. And, live music will fill the evening air from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Finally, keep an eye on the weather on the day of the event. Inclement weather, such as rain or high winds, could result in the glow's cancellation.
Admission to the Hot Air Balloon Glow is free. However, activities and events at the Sertoma Duck Race Festival typically have fees.
Address: 891-961 North Riverside Road, Ozark, MO, 65721
