We often have so much to do that we can’t fit it all in! However, there is one annual spring festival in Missouri you definitely won't want to miss, and it just happens to be one of the cutest and most unique festivals in Missouri. The Sertoma Duck Race in Ozark, Missouri, boasts a full lineup of family-friendly fun, thousands of adorable rubber ducks, and even stunning hot air balloons. Does it get any better? It sure does!
Celebrate the final weekend of spring with a visit to the annual Sertoma Duck Race Festival in Ozark, an epic two-day event the whole family will love.
If you've never thought about adding rubber duck racing in Missouri to your spring bucket list, you might want to reconsider.
Slated for the second-to-last weekend in June at Finley River Park, the festival promises a whole lot of fun and a ton of rubber duckies – 10,000 to be exact.
The highlight of this beloved spring festival is, arguably, the rubber duck race. Everyone’s invited to get involved by adopting ducks who will race down the Finley River.
All the way up until an hour before the race you can adopt a numbered rubber duck (or even a whole family of them!) and watch them float to victory!
Entrants will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including the Grand Prize of a Chevy Camaro.
Make sure you stay late at the festival on Friday evening for the breathtaking hot air balloon glow. Watch as the balloons illuminate the nighttime sky!
Carnival rides and inflatables will be available for the kids, and several competitions, including a pie eating contest and a corn hole tournament, are planned for the weekend. And don't forget the fun run and car show!
Live music, a craft fair, a beer garden, and food trucks round out the highlights of the festival, which will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show.
This fun family event isn't just one of the best festivals in Missouri, though - it's a fundraiser that benefits local children's charities around the county. What a sweet way to spend a spring weekend!
