1. Presley’s Outing
Presley’s Outing is an RV and recreational park. Dubbed a little slice of paradise, it's centered around Goode’s Mill Lake. A long-time favorite, it’s been attracting locals for more than 40 years — and for several good reasons, one of which is a white sand beach. The park’s other perks include canoeing and kayaking, BBQ pits, and an on-site eatery.
2. Old Bridge Beach
One of the most beautiful secret beaches in Mississippi, Old Bridge Beach can be found in the unincorporated community of New Site. Featuring crystal clear water and some of the whitest, most pristine sand in the state, it's the perfect place to cool off on a hot, summer day. A playground, fishing pier, picnic tables, grills, and volleyball court are also part of the beach’s perks.
3. Paradise in Picayune
If you’re craving some water-related fun completely free of crowds, Paradise in Picayune is the place for you. The attraction, which is centered around a white sand beach, is only available for private rentals. That’s right; you’ll have the entire place to yourself. The grounds also include a covered pavilion, paddle boats, corn hole, and volleyball.
4. Lake Tiak-O’khata
If you're looking for "secret beaches near me," tucked away in a small town, Lake Tiak-O’Khata is one hidden gem worth seeking out. Centered around a gorgeous man-made lake, the resort includes a white sand beach, water slides, and volleyball court. There is also a restaurant and picnic area which means you could easily spend the entire day at this hidden gem. Extend your visit by booking a stay in one of the on-site cabins, the lakeside motel, or the RV Park.
5. Starkville KOA
Starkville KOA is tucked away on the sandy shores of Oktibbeha County Lake. A great summertime visit, the incredible campground includes charming cabins, a private beach, and its own water park. Day passes for the waterpark and beach are available, so you don’t have to actually stay at the campground to take advantage of its incredible amenities.
