Calling Panther Lake is a 404-acre man-made lake in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

It’s one of the newest lakes in the state. Construction began in 2000 and it was finished in 2003. By 2006, the lake was stocked with fish and open to the public.
Calling Panther Lake Campground is the easiest way to access this lake. The ride to the campground is a bit bumpy, so take it slow.

There are 23 campsites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a bathhouse with showers and restrooms nearby.
The campground has a boat launch and plenty of parking.

Honestly, I’d just use a trolling motor. The lake itself is one of the deepest lakes in the area (40+ feet) but watching for stumps can be a full-time job. Take it slow.
