With millions of lights stretched across 40 acres, it may be the largest drive-thru Christmas lights park in Mississippi. Grab the kids and gas up the car, because you're not going to want to miss this spectacular holiday event this year. Take a look at this magical holiday lights display in Mississippi:
During Tylertown’s Christmas in the Park, Holmes Water Park is transformed into a holiday wonderland thanks to millions of colorful Christmas lights and décor.
Each year, more than 25,000 visitors head to the park to take in the glimmering lights. And this year, you should definitely make plans to be one of them.
There are several ways to take in the incredible holiday display. The driving tour is by far the most popular.
Head to the park anytime between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and you can drive around, taking in the glistening lights from the comfort (and warmth) of your own vehicle. Admission is based on the size of vehicle you drive.
Wagon rides are another option for previewing the festive light show, although they are typically offered on a limited basis.
The "fun-filled, tractor-pulled" wagon ride will take you through the park’s decked-out 40 acres, so you can focus all your attention on the beautiful display.
To really get an up-close view of the lighted park, consider taking the walking tour. Available only one night a year, the walking tour allows you to stroll through the display at your own pace.
There is also a small admission fee for this activity. For an additional donation, there are also cookies and hot chocolate. Don't forget to also make time for a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Aside from the light display, there’s lots more holiday fun to be had.
Don't forget to fill up on hot chocolate and cookies! Santa and Mrs. Clause will also be available for pictures.
The park also includes a North Pole Postal Service mailbox, so don’t forget to bring along your letter for Santa.
