If you only go to one fall festival in Mississippi this year, make it the Peanut Festival. The festival is held the first week in October at Mitchell Farms in Collins, Mississippi. This year marks over a dozen years of celebrations and promises to be one to remember. Over 75 vendors from all over the South come out to sell their crafts, plus there will be all of the pumpkin patch activities Mitchell Farms is known for.

4. Cleveland Oktoberfest

This Mississippi fall festival has a reputation for being one of the best outdoor festivals in the Delta, and we’d have to agree! Adults will enjoy the live music and the Mississippi Delta State Barbecue Championship, a very high honor for the winners. The two-day Cleveland Oktoberfest takes place in mid-October.
