4. Bulldog Burger Company (702 University Dr., Starkville)

And since this eatery is located inside the Horseshoe Tunica casino, it’s open 24 hours, so you can get your burger fix day or night.

7. Ed’s Burger Joint (3800 Hardy St., Hattiesburg)

Specializing in "fresh beef and fresh buns" Ed’s Burger Joint serves up some of the best (and biggest) burgers in Hattiesburg. Among the variety of signature creations that fill the menu, you’ll find Heavy Eddie. The "enormous" concoction includes two Certified Angus ground chuck patties, American cheese, crisp bacon, grilled onions, and Ed's Grill Sauce – all of which is placed between two grilled cheese sandwiches.

8. Owens Burger Shack (601 Martin Luther King Blvd., Clarksdale)

A self proclaimed hole-in-the-wall, Owens Burger Shack may not look like much on the outside, but once you try the burgers, you won’t care what the exterior looks like. Among the burger selection, you’ll find the Annie Mae Burger. Made with two large patties and piled high with toppings, the hearty creation is a burger lover’s dream come true.

9. Laid Back Burger Shack (200 S Church St., Florence)

At this Florence eatery, the smallest burger you’ll find is ½ lb. And if that’s not enough to quench your appetite, there’s also the Laidback Double Stack. Comprised of not one, but two, ½ lb patties, and a variety of toppings, it’s sure to satisfy. Remember, all the burgers are made fresh at this eatery, so a wait is possible (but well worth it).

10. Side Street Burger (9199 MS-178, Olive Branch)

The perfect combination of traditional and innovative, Side Street Burger is known for serving up burgers with a twist. In fact, the eatery’s Mean Event Brisket Burger was recently included in Mississippi’s Best Burger 2017 listing. Made up of two patties topped with gorgonzola, basil pesto, bacon and cheese, leftovers are practically unavoidable.

11. Dockside (6061 Texas Flat Rd., Kiln)

Tucked away in the small town of Kiln, Dockside serves up a slew of delicious eats, including gigantic burgers. According to customers, the burgers are the "best," which makes the fact that you’ll probably have to dislodge your jaw to eat them, a bit more acceptable.

This beloved dive may have gained recognition for being a favorite of Britney Spears, but it’s the delicious burgers and affordable prices that customers can’t stop talking about.
