Minnesota has more than a few places to satisfy your sweet tooth. From donut shops to ice cream parlors, chocolate shops to bakeries, there's no shortage of sweet spots to get a sugar fix. One of our favorites is a gigantic candy barn that you'll want to visit over and over again. Take a look:
Minnesota's Largest Candy Store is a gigantic candy store just outside of the Twin Cities. You'll find it at 20430 Johnson Memorial Dr., Jordan, MN 55352.
This candy store is housed in a big, yellow barn. With quirky signage and plenty of interest out front - not to mention all the cars in the parking lot - you won't miss it from the road.
There's even a newly added candy silo that adds even more unique sweet treats to the store.
Inside, you'll find row upon row of delicious, sugary morsels. If you can think of it, they probably have it.
One of the most unique sections? The tables of locally made goodies. From candy to baked goods, you'll find it all here.
The store is connected to Jim's Apple Farm, so you can even get farm-fresh apples. Don't forget the caramel!
Among all the rows of candy, you'll find many old-fashioned treats. Cow Tales, Necco Wafers, and other nostalgic classics are up for grabs.
You'll also find plenty of new things to try as well. There are entire walls dedicated to chocolatey gifts, novelty items, and unique licensed candies.
Speaking of unique, don't pass up the soda section. Here, you can buy a drinkable Thanksgiving feast, browse dictator-branded sodas, or just go for a new-to-you root beer flavor.
In the silo, you'll find many foreign treats. The entire center of it is dedicated to Japanese candy. Aside from well-known Pocky, you'll likely walk away with many exciting new things to try.
Minnesota's Largest Candy Store is a must-stop spot for all Minnesota candy lovers. Next time you're traveling down Highway 169, do not pass it up!
When you visit this gigantic candy store, be sure to bring cash! There are ATMs on site, but the store does not accept cards. Minnesota's Largest Candy Store is a seasonal store that runs from May through November. Check out their Facebook page for information about hours, new stock, and more.
