Coffee Mill Cafe is a charming little restaurant in Zumbrota, Minnesota. This town, famous for its covered bridge, is north of Rochester, about 40 miles south of the Twin Cities.
The Coffee Mill is exactly the type of place you’d expect from a small town like Zumbrota. The staff is friendly, the dining area is simple but clean, and the food is plentiful. Sit down at the counter for a view of the hustle and bustle...
...or choose a table in the main dining area for a quieter spot. This place fills up fast, but there’s plenty of seating, and you’ll never have to wait too long!
As for the food, Coffee Mill serves up classic diner classics that will please just about anybody. For example, grab a breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and bacon or sausage to start your day off on the right foot.
Lunchtime visitors will appreciate the varied menu of noontime favorites. Sandwiches, salads, and burgers are popular options. Served with a big pile of fries, these hearty meals are some of the best deals in town.
No matter when you show up, don’t leave without trying a slice of homemade pie. In fact, the pie is the cafe’s claim to fame. President Obama stopped at the cafe on the 2011 campaign trail to try some pie!
