Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Michigan fall festivals always bring the community together and are a fun time for all. It's part of what makes fall in Michigan so special. From those who celebrate the harvest to those celebrating the changing temps, here are seven of the best fall festivals in Michigan for 2024.
The Halloween spirit always gets a headstart in Southwest Michigan at one of the most thrilling haunted theme parks in the state. The Niles Scream Park opens its doors for the season on September 6, 2024, and it's open every Friday and Saturday throughout the month. Then it's open Friday - Sunday every weekend in October. It stays open past Halloween for Black Out nights, which get even spookier as the lights shut down.
Michiganders know they brew some of the best beer in the country. This festival is all about celebrating these suds on September 7, 2024, in Marquette, Michigan. This is a 21+ event and the entry fee includes 15 beer tokens so you can taste your way through the festival. There are also discount tickets available for designated drivers.
We take our beer celebration to a whole new level in Frankenmuth. While the town is most well known for its Christmas Store, it's also home to one of the oldest microbreweries in the country. In 1996, members of the German Parliament proclaimed this festival as the first Oktoberfest to operate with the blessing of the original Oktoberfest held in Munich.
