2. Historic Haven Hill Trail (5200 Highland Rd, White Lake)
History buffs will be absolutely delighted by this unique trail within Highland State Recreation Area. The aroma of Heavenly Scent Herb Farm is enough to make you fall in love.
4. Ocqueoc Falls (Millersburg)
While most of our spectacular waterfalls are located within the Upper Peninsula, there’s one hidden gem south of the Mackinac Bridge that certainly deserves attention: Ocqueoc Falls. As the largest waterfall in the Lower Peninsula, it’s a stunning yet lesser-known spot to unwind with family and friends who enjoy nature as much as you do. While the falls are accessible during day trips via a convenient walkway and can even be utilized as a swimming area, visitors can extend their time here by checking in at the accompanying campground. Ocqueoc Falls is definitely one of the most incredible hidden gems in Michigan Lower Peninsula.
5. Castle Rock (N2690 Castle Rock Rd, St Ignace)
Make your way just over the Mighty Mac to check out Castle Rock, a long-standing yet decidedly underrated Michigan attraction that provides visitors with gorgeous views of the surrounding water and landscape.
