Whether you’re looking for epic Christmas light displays, home tours, or a hidden holiday castle, Kalamazoo has it all! See why this Michigan Christmas town is worth visiting this year.
Kalamazoo, Michigan is located in the southwest region and has a charming downtown called “The Mall.” While walking around downtown, grab some coffee or hot chocolate at one of Kzoo’s many quaint coffee shops.
The Mall is at its most beautiful at Christmas time when it is bursting with Christmas lights. After grabbing a slice of pizza at delicious Bilbo’s Pizza, you can take a nighttime stroll through the festive streets of this charming Christmas town in Michigan.
Pick out some old-fashioned Christmas treats at the retro candy and soda shop Rocket Fizz. While you’re there, you can find some unique retro gifts and stocking stuffers.
A few blocks away is Bronson Park which has pathways lined with giant candy canes. While the park is beautiful during the day, you have to experience how enchanting it is when it’s lit up at night.
Bronson Park is home to the magical Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony where the entire park is lit from top to bottom. There are so many special holiday events in Kalamazoo such as the holiday markets and New Year’s Fest in the park.
