Let's start with fall, the favorite season for many Bay Staters. With golden and crimson hues of the leaves, Maudslay State Park is as picturesque as can be. Also, with cooler temperatures, this time of year may be an ideal time to hike the park's 16 miles of trails.
During the winter, you will be able to enjoy some peace and quiet and may have parts of the park all to yourself. If the ground is covered in snow, you may want to try cross-country skiing along the park's trails.
