3. Douglas Forest Wallis Pond Loop Trail, Douglas
This five-mile round-trip hike will take you through beautiful woodland to a hidden turquoise lake. It’s an easy path that’s perfect for families and hikers with dogs, and there are lots of places to lounge and picnic near the pond. More info and directions here
4. Newbury Street, Boston
Stroll down Newbury Street in Boston for a taste of the world and endless shopping variety. This one street is home to 55 restaurants, cafes and bars, so you’ll be spoiled for lunch options. 5. Wynott’s Wands, Salem
If you’ve ever wanted to jump into the wizarding world of Harry Potter, this real-life wand store in the magical town of Salem is as close as you can get. 7. Salem Willows, Salem
Salem Willows Arcade is located in Salem Willows Park. This historic spot is home to a vintage amusement park complete with classic games, kiddie rides and lots of old-fashioned fair food.

10. The Fairbanks House, Dedham
The Fairbanks House is the oldest surviving wooden structure in North America! This fascinating home has been the family seat of the Fairbanks clan since 1637, and it's still owned and maintained by family members. 11. The Bell in Hand, Boston
Looking for a dose of history with a side of ale? Head to the Bell in Hand Tavern in Boston. Established in 1795, it’s the oldest bar in America and still an awesome place to stop for a burger, a pint or live show. More info and directions here
12. Edaville Railroad, Carver
Edaville Railroad is a heritage railroad that celebrates all things Thomas the Tank Engine. With 11.5 acres of gorgeous landscaping, rideable animatronic trains and awesome live shows, this place is a hoot. More info and directions here
