Summer in Maryland often requires us to find creative ways to beat the heat. One of our favorite remedies for a humid summer afternoon is a few turns around the lazy river at Splash Mountain Water Park. This 1,100-foot river gently winds and turns its way around the park, and all that’s required of you is to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
One of the most beloved attractions in Ocean City, Splash Mountain is perhaps the most exhilarating way to stay cool in the summertime.
But perhaps the true gem of this waterpark is its lazy river. What it lacks in speed in exhilaration it more than makes up for in tranquility. It's the perfect place to catch your breath or chat with a friend.
When was the last time you visited Splash Mountain? What did you think of your experience there? Feel free to share your stories and memories with us — we would love to hear from you! For more information, be sure to check out the official Splash Mountain Water Park website. And don’t forget to pack some sunscreen!
