1. Splash Mountain Water Park, Ocean City
Located at the Jolly Roger Amusement Park in Ocean City, this festive Maryland water park is loaded with fun ways to keep cool. Attractions include numerous water slides, lazy river, splash pool, and loads more, making this one of the most fun places to swim in Maryland. Be sure to put it on your bucket list for this summer!
2. Chesapeake Beach Water Park, Chesapeake Beach
This Chesapeake Beach Water Park offers eight slides, waterfalls, and a lagoon. Spend a day having fun with the whole family in the sun (and water!) at this cool place. (Editor's Note: Chesapeake Beach Water Park is temporarily closed for renovations)
3. Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags America, Bowie
This place is a family favorite waterpark in Maryland and includes attractions such as the Bahama Blast, Halfpipe, and Hurricane Bay. Kids and adults could spend an entire weekend playing at this exciting spot.
4. Sun Outdoors Frontier Town, Berlin
Frontier Town is worth mentioning for its themed water park. The water slides and lazy river will have you never wanting to leave this Maryland waterpark. It will be the most fun you'll have all summer!
5. City of Gaithersburg Water Park at Bohrer Park, Gaithersburg
Check out the double water slide here that is 250 feet long. There is also a children's splash pool, perfect for little tots to go swimming in Maryland. This water park at Bohrer Park is a wonderful way to cool off this summer.
6. Adventure Sports Center International, McHenry
Alternatively, Adventure Sports Center International is a different type of water park, but no less fun. This man-made course is used for rafting, kayaking, and river boarding. Are you up to the challenge? Come give it a shot!
