Cascade Falls is hidden in Patapsco Valley State Park. This sprawling park in Central Maryland has much to see, and you'll want to see it all.

Soon you'll arrive at Cascade Falls, and you'll see for yourself why this path is one of the best hiking trails with waterfalls in Maryland.
You can sit on the outer edge and enjoy the scenery...
...or even wade in the water during warmer months. Because of the shallow water, this spot is perfect for kids to make a splash. This is easily one of our favorite waterfall hikes in Maryland for families.
You can even visit the falls during wintertime and see it frozen over! No matter what time of year you view this natural wonder, you're sure to have a memorable time – just don't forget your camera!
