Quiet Waters is a beautifully-maintained wandering area in Annapolis. The fountain is a joyful spot to bring a cup of coffee and enjoy the summer weather.
There are miles of trails through some absolutely gorgeous woods that you can wander through comfortably any time of year. The wooded areas and trails all eventually will lead you to…
…An incredibly scenic view of the South River! There are overlooks aplenty scattered throughout Quiet Waters. In the fall, the brilliant color of the foliage will be absolutely stunning.
One of the most popular stops at the park is the James Lighthizer Gazebo. This beautiful spot is often reserved for weddings and other events, and the breathtaking view of the river it offers makes it easy to see why!
In the winter, the fountain area is transformed into an outdoor ice rink, which is one of my personal favorite ways to spend an afternoon in the chilly breeze.
Of course, Quiet Waters is also home to a dog beach, where you can bring your pups to play and swim and otherwise enjoy the wonderful outdoorsy spirit of the summer.
As mentioned before, Quiet Waters is open year-round. You can find information about the park and its events available on the Quiet Waters website.
