When you need comfort food, there's nothing like a homemade pie. Whether you love fruit pies or prefer cream or meringue, pie is the perfect dessert, but a savory pie stuffed with lobster makes a great dinner, too. There's a pretty famous little diner in the southeastern corner of Maine that's known not only for its delicious dessert pies but for its lobster pie as well.

Maine Diner is tucked away in the southeastern corner of the state. You'll find it at 2265 Post Rd., Wells, ME 04090.

This popular diner is always hopping, with both locals and tourists. It's been a favorite for a long time, but when it appeared on the TV show Diner, Drive-Ins and Dives a few years ago, everyone got the word that it was the go-to place for comfort food and all kinds of pie.

You’ve probably had a few lobster rolls by now, so how would you like some eclectic and creative dining at a quality waterfront steakhouse in Maine and enjoy a quiet evening out? The Royal River Grill House in Yarmouth is just the place.

If you’re looking for prime cuts of steak for a mouthwatering dinner while enjoying lovely riverside views, you must come to Royal River Grill House, which is one of the best steakhouses in Maine.

You can be seated in the spacious dining room with plenty of windows to take in the views and enjoy the rustic chandeliers and wooden beams while you sit in massive, comfy chairs.

When it comes to culinary options, we have so many fantastic restaurants in Maine to choose from. We’re known primarily for excellent seafood; however, we also have a vast array of international cuisines and farm-to-table eateries, and you’ll find lobster rolls on most menus. If fresh pasta is your thing, you must stop by Fin & Fern in Stonington, Maine. The pasta is to die for!

The lovely little town of Stonington hides one of the best pasta restaurants in Maine. Fin & Fern’s chef Andrew Chappell makes pasta by hand every day. With 30 years of culinary experience, he opened this fantastic restaurant in 2019 and the reviews are stellar.

The interior is comforting and classy with gorgeous waterfront views. The intricate details on the walls and ceiling draw the eye and little touches like paintings and pillows will make you feel welcome as you are seated.
