During the spring and summer months, snoballs are a part of any New Orleanian’s diet. Since we’re approaching snoball season, we thought we’d give some love to some of the best snoball stands in and around New Orleans. These places are absolutely waiting in line for, so be sure to check them out!

1. Hansen’s Sno-Bliz

Opened in 1939, Hansen’s is one of those places that all New Orleanians have been visiting since they were kids. What sets Hansen’s apart from the rest is their homemade syrups and toppings. You’ll be able to taste the difference! 4801 Tchoupitoulas Street.

2. Plum Street Snoballs

Plum Street Snoballs has been in business since 1945, and they’re a much loved tradition for locals in that area. They’re open for the season, so go check them out! 1300 Burdette Street.

5. Pandora’s Snowballs

6. Sal’s Sno-Balls

Head on over to Metairie for some of the best snoballs in the city. They’ve been in business since 1960, and their menu includes snoballs, sundaes and ice cream cones.

7. Sno-La

Opened in 2016, this relatively new snowball stand immediately started making waves with their unique flavor combinations and inventive snoballs.
