Largemouth bass is what everyone is after, but you could find yourself reeling in bluegill, chain pickerel, or even a spotted bass or two.

In 2023, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries installed artificial reefs throughout the lake. They are designed to be angler-friendly (less snags) and provide ample cover for fish. You can see where the artificial reefs were installed before you head out.
