1. Atwood's Bakery (Alexandria)

2. Berrytown Produce (Hammond & Ponchatoula)
The best place to get a strawberry-cream filled king cake. Locations in Ponchatoula and Hammond.
3. Gambino's Bakery (New Orleans)
Gambino's has been baking fresh king cakes since 1949 and they've become quite the New Orleans tradition. Their special Danish dough combined with their classic fondant icing makes their king cakes stand out for sure. Gambino's has locations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette.
4. Haydel's Bakery (New Orleans)
Another New Orleans institution. Haydel's has been in business since 1959 and also holds the World Record for World's Longest King Cake. Haydel's is located at 4037 Jefferson Hwy. New Orleans, LA 70121.
5. Keller's Bakery (Youngsville)
Perhaps the best king cakes in Acadiana. Located at 627 Lafayette Street Youngsville, Louisiana 70592.
6. Lilah's (Shreveport)
Opened in 2006, this family run bakery has been in business since 2006. They have 15 flavors to choose from and also do a flavor of the week. 1718 Centenary Blvd

7. Navarre's Pastries (Springfield)
Baked fresh daily and filled with real fruit filling, you'll definitely come back for another king cake at Navarre's. Located at 31545 Highway 22 Springfield, LA 70462.
8. Randazzo's Camellia City Bakery (Slidell)
Featured on the Food Network's show Unwrapped, Randazzo's has been hand braiding their king cakes since 1965. Located at 3501 Pontchartrain Drive

9. Ambrosia Bakery (Baton Rouge)
You have to try their Zulu king cake loaded with a coconut spread, cream cheese and chocolate chips. Located at 8546 Siegen Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
10. Cannata's (Houma)
With over 60 flavors to choose from, you'll certainly find your favorite. Cannata's has been dubbed the "official king cake of Mardi Gras" and for good reason, baking every king cake from scratch the old fashioned way. Located at 6307 W Park Ave Houma, Louisiana.
