There are plenty of places to grab a drink in New Orleans, but not that many places to get bubble tea (until now). Feng Cha in Louisiana is one of the few places to get a taste of the boba craze, and if you’ve never had one before, you’re in for a real treat.

Bubble Tea goes by many names, including pearl milk tea, bubble milk tea, tapioca milk tea, boba tea, or just boba. This tea-based drink originated in Taiwan in the 1980s before immigrants brought it to the United States in the 1990s, initially in the Los Angeles Area before spreading to the rest of the country. With the help of social media, the boba trend seemed to go viral, thanks to the vibrant colors and how photogenic the drink is.
