This adventure park features more than 150 alligators and an exotic animal zoo with lemurs, kangaroos, capybara and many more. 3. Global Wildlife
Founded in 1991, Global Wildlife is a fun adventure for the whole family. 4. EPIC Entertainment
This outdoor recreation center is the perfect place for anyone feeling adventurous. Located at 130 N Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Scott, LA 70583.
5. Spend the night with spirits.
Nestled in the sleepy little town of St. Francisville, the Myrtles Plantation was built in 1796 and is known for being the most haunted plantation in the country. You can take a guided tour during the day, but if you’re really adventurous, you can stay the night in one of the rooms in the plantation.
6. NOLA Flyboarding
When the weather warms up, this is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. You’ll feel like Superman as water propels you vertically in the air over Lake Pontchartrain. Once you figure out your balance, you’ll feel like you’re defying gravity. They open back up for the season in March, and you can find them at 7400 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, LA 70124.
7. Take a moonlit kayak tour through the bayou.
Paddle through the bayous, listening to the sounds of the birds, crickets, frogs and other animals as the day gives way to night and the bayous come alive with a symphony of sounds.
