I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things about the Bluegrass State is the fact there are so many different hidden gem hiking trails to explore. Truly, it’s always a surprise for me when I stumble upon a hiking trail, usually tucked away in a state park, that I didn’t know even existed. That’s how I felt when I came across the Silvermine Arch Trail in the Red River Gorge Geological Area. This 2.8-mile out-and-back trail is open year-round and features a geological wonder that deserves to be seen up close.
