1. Bourbon N Toulouse, Lexington

4. Gumbo Ya Ya, Lexington and Nicholasville
Get your Creole-Cajun favorites in a hurry at this counter-serve spot. They have all the classic New Orleans dishes, ranging from gumbo to jambalaya to etouffee. Gumbo Ya Ya has two locations. One is at 1080 S. Broadway in Lexington, and the other is at 294 E. Brannon Road in Nicholasville.
5. 440 Main/Micki's On Main, Bowling Green
Take your pick of two great restaurants in one location depending on if you're looking for something more laid back or something fancier. Both have Cajun-themed dishes, but 440 Main is a little more upscale, while Micki's has a more casual and fun feel to it. Both restaurants are located inside a 19th-century building at 440 E. 6. Knotty Pine on the Bayou, Cold Spring
You'll feel like family at this cozy and casual restaurant. Try truly authentic Cajun dishes like fried alligator, frogs legs, or a shrimp boil. Knotty Pine on the Bayou is located at 6302 Licking Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
7. Doc Crow's Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar, Louisville

8. Rick's White Light Diner, Frankfort
This unassuming little restaurant is located right on the Kentucky River, and has been featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." 9. Selena's Restaurant at Willow Lake Tavern, Louisville

10. The Keg Restaurant, Murray
