This charming little town is nicknamed “Little Sweden” thanks to its strong Scandinavian culture. The town was founded by Swedish immigrants, and many of their descendants still live here today. You can find Swedish restaurants, Swedish shops, and adorable Dala horse statues everywhere. It’s also home to one of our favorite cabins in Kansas – which also happens to be quite affordable! Lindsborg has a population of under 5,000. It's tucked away in McPherson County, near the central part of the state.

This place really knows how to celebrate. Every other year, Lindsborg hosts the Svensk Hyllingsfest, a celebration of all things Swedish. The festival features traditional folk dancing, food, and all kinds of fun activities.

Lindsborg also hosts a number of other great events throughout the year, including a month-long Christmas celebration featuring parades, the St. Lucia Festival, and more.
There are so many great shops and restaurants to check out in this little town.
