1. The Willard Library - Evansville
The Grey Lady is rumored to haunt these grand walls. Don't worry, all signs seem to indicate that this is a friendly ghost, though still definitely a ghost.

2. 100 Step Cemetery - Brazil
Don't visit this cemetery if you're afraid of the dark! Legend has it that you need to visit this cemetery at night and climb up the 100 steps in the graveyard. When you reach the top, a ghost will appear and show you how you're going to die. Creepy!

3. Story Inn - Nashville
The Blue Lady is the resident ghost found at this historic, little inn. She's believed to be friendly, leaving blue items behind to mark where she's been (like hair ribbons).

4. French Lick Springs Hotel - French Lick
This stunning hotel is allegedly home to various ghosts. If you're looking to find one, you'll want to visit the 6th floor, which is where most of the paranormal activity is found. Visitors claim you can hear the cries and groaning from a man who hung himself in the hotel, as well as maniacal laughter and footsteps.

5. Indiana Central State Hospital - Indianapolis
This former hospital is now a Medical History Museum, but was once an insane asylum. All kinds of stories abound about this place. Sadly, many patients whose illnesses weren't understood were chained in dungeon-like cells here. Visitors claim you'll witness a variety of paranormal activity on these grounds.

6. The Barbee Hotel - Warsaw
The Barbee Hotel was most famous as a site where many gangsters stayed, including Al Capone. There are numerous stories of gang related murders and acts of violence, and many visitors and hotel employees warn of the ghosts that reside inside.

7. The Canyon Inn - Spencer
There are rumors that this hotel within McCormick Creek State Park used to be an insane asylum. Screams and footsteps are often heard here, so if you're lucky, you might be able to catch a ghost.

8. Notre Dame University - Notre Dame
Washington Hall inside of this famous university is allegedly haunted by famous former football player, George Gipp. He died of strep throat in the 1920s and students and faculty claim his ghost can be heard roaming the halls at night.

9. Potato Creek State Park - North Liberty
This pretty state park has a tragic history tied to it. Many years ago, some children drowned in the lake. Visitors claim you can hear their ghosts around the lake when you visit. Others claim they sense a presence watching them when staying in the cabins.
