Tucked away in the northwest corner of Indiana, along Lake Michigan, is one of the most underrated museums in the state. If you love all things nautical, then this is the destination for you.
Guests are admitted April through October and the cost is just $5 for visitors age 14 and up while young children may enter for just $2.
Open Tuesday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the museum offers both self-guided, docent-led, and audio tours. Admission gets anyone who is more than 5 yeas of age all the way up into the lantern tower.
