Imagine this: you wake up, and it's quiet. Very quiet; in fact, all you can hear is the sounds of birds singing outdoors. You get up, stretch, and look outside. There's a lake there, spanning several acres -- but there's nobody on the lake. The reason is simple: it's a private lake, and it's all yours. There's a cabin rental in Indiana that will make sure your every morning begin just like that. It's beautiful and secluded. Whether you stay just for the weekend or longer, you're sure to leave significantly more relaxed than when you first arrived.
This Airbnb listing is located in the center of 370 quiet, private acres, which includes a lake.
The lake spans 14 acres, and is great for fishing. Bring your own gear, or borrow the host's. Either way, few things are quite as awesome as fishing on a private lake.
To access the property, you have to pass through two locked gates -- when we say secluded, we truly mean it!
From the driveway, it's another half-mile to the cabin. You'd be wise to go grocery shopping before you arrive; this cabin rental in Indiana is perfect for people who truly want to be away from it ALL.
Sunsets and sunrises are just a little sweeter when they're going on over a lake that belongs entirely to you.
The grounds are home to loads of awe-inspiring hiking and walking trails, so once you've had your fill of the lake (if that's even possible), make sure to explore the rest of the area!
This cabin has three bedrooms and two baths.
It comfortably sleeps up to six guests, though we recommend this one for a nice, quiet weekend to yourself, or perhaps spent with a significant other.
Take your pick from the cozy bedrooms; personally, we like the one that overlooks the lake.
But, of course, it's up to you to decide. The best part of getting away from it all is that your most difficult decision will be which cozy bed to snuggle up in later.
The cabin comes with plenty of amenities, like WiFi and a fully-equipped kitchen.
It's perfect for cooking a nice, home-made meal and then watching that aforementioned sunset on the porch before you retire for the evening. Unless, of course, you prefer to be out by the water under the stars - in which case, this place is perfect for you.
