Walk Through 1,300 Acres Of Historical Delights At Indiana's Spring Mill State Park

Indiana often gets a bad rep as being “boring” or “flyover”, but as you already know, dear reader, it’s so much more than that. Our beautiful little state is home to 24 stunning state parks (and one awesome National Park), and when it comes to both natural beauty and history, Indiana is one of the most intriguing. It’s a place where both subjects often blend together into one wondrous thing; take, for example, Spring Mill State Park. This stunning state park in Indiana is a stellar example of just how much fun our parks and recreation areas can be, and believe it or not, it’s probably one of my all-time favorites. Come explore one of the most beautiful places in Indiana and see for yourself: it’s amazing out here!

You read that right: caves! Once you've had your fill of the historical aspect of Spring Mill State Park, prepare to have your mind blown in the natural wonders department, too.

Self-guided recreational groups are allowed access to parts of these caves after registering in advance and taking part in an online training course to help protect local bat populations from White-Nose Syndrome, which is very harmful to them.
