Versailles State Park includes a 230-acre lake created by a dam across Laughery Creek and offers seven trails, including some that are designed for horses and mountain bikes, and can be shared with hikers. The 2.9-mile South Loop Trail is moderately challenging and takes about an hour, making it a nice complement to Crossroads Family Restaurant, about a mile from the park.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
