During the summer, many Idahoans flock to Meridian for water rides, go-karts, and more. However, one of the biggest draws is Roaring Springs Water Park.
This is considered the largest water park in the Northwest. This summertime destination is home to more than 20 water attractions, making it easy to find the perfect activity for every member of your family.
You can always start your day off at a leisurely pace. Spend some time in the Leisure Lagoon or the Endless River, a 0.25-mile lazy river.
However, if you are up for more of a rush, there are water attractions with an amusement-park feel. The Cliffhanger, for example, is sure to make your heart pound. Here, you will fall nearly six stories in just four seconds.
The Corkscrew Cavern is the first 360-degree looping waterslide in the Northwest. On this ride, you will be propelled into an enclosed tunnel at a speed of 38 feet per second.
Snake River Run is another water attraction that you’ll want to experience at least once. On this ride, you will sit in a one or two-person tube and quickly drop into a saucer.
Right next door to Roaring Springs Water Park is Wahooz Family Fun Zone. This area is home to 15 family-friendly attractions such as go-karts, bumper boats, miniature golf, and bowling.
You can always play a game of laser tag, score a 300 in bowling, and then tackle the ropes course before heading over to Roaring Springs Water Park.
You can purchase tickets to each park separately or purchase an unlimited fun pass. This pass gives you access to both the water park and the family fun zone in a single day or within six days of each other.
Whether you are at the water park or the amusement park, this Idaho attraction is a great way to spend time together as a family, with a group of friends, or if you simply need some sunshine and good laughs. Come for the water slides, bowling, or even a game of miniature golf — there really is so much to do!
