Located in Boise, Amaru Confections recently went under renovation to become what might just be Idaho's first "dessert bar". It's now become easier than ever to get your sweet tooth fix!
For years, Amaru has been known for their luxurious and delightful desserts. However, you could really only purchase them at grocery stores or in restaurants. After their recent remodel, it's now possible for customers to get their dessert straight from the source.
Before, Amaru didn't have any retail seating in their shop but now they can seat dozens in a warm and charming atmosphere. Their goal is to become one of Boise's top date-night destinations for couples to hang out and indulge in scrumptious treats.
The restaurant emphasizes pairing your dessert with a local beer, wine, or cider. For example, imagine combining a wonderful dark chocolate cupcake with a nice glass of red wine or stout beer. Perfect!
At Amaru, you can buy treats that aren't so easily attainable elsewhere. You can even buy cake by the slice. Be honest, how many of us have bought an entire cake or pie when all we wanted was just a slice? This place is really changing the dessert game.
