If you answered yes to either of these questions, you’re going to LOVE the newest addition to Honolulu’s Ala Moana Center: a magical Christmas-themed pop-up bar that serves butterbeer! This is the Christmas Bar, and it’s absolutely as incredible as it sounds. Let’s take a look inside, shall we?

Festive yuletide spirits abound in this jolly joint decked out with garland, twinkling lights, tinsel and ornaments. Even total grinches will find themselves embracing the holiday spirit and singing Christmas carols at this incredibly fun pop-up bar.

You’ll find festive touches everywhere you look, from the red and green checkered table clothes and neatly wrapped presents displayed behind the bar…

...to the servers wearing Christmas socks, ugly sweaters, and Santa hats. You might even spot a reindeer or two!

Enough about the incredible decor, let’s talk about what you’re really here for: the drinks!

If you’ve ever wanted to know what butterbeer tastes like, here’s your chance.

This tasty concoction is made with vanilla vodka, butterschnapps, cream soda, and marshmallow fluff. The talented bartenders can even make a nonalcoholic version if you’d like (but why would you?)

Butterbeer isn’t the only thing you’ll find on the menu at the Christmas Bar — you’ll also find a plethora of craft cocktails, including festive martinis, spiked hot chocolate, wintery sangria, a Christmas mojito, and, of course, eggnog.

Wine and beer selections are also available, and while there is no food served here, you can bring your own.

This is one pitstop sure to fill you with holiday cheer, and help you get through your holiday shopping list, regardless of how many aunties, uncles, and cousins you need to find gifts for.

The Christmas Bar is located at Ala Moana Center in the former Magnolia Bakery space in the Ewa Wing next to Mr. Tea Cafe, and is open everyday now through December 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Click here to check out their Facebook page.
