The C.O. Polk Museum is an interactive museum right in the center of McDonough's town square. The local history museum has tons of information about the city's past.

Even if you're not particularly interested in photography, cameras are pretty fascinating devices. What's even more amazing is that they've been around for hundreds of years. 3. Heritage Park Veterans Museum: 99 Lake Dow Rd, McDonough, GA 30252
Heritage Park is a great place to get out for an afternoon. You'll find a lot of interesting things here, including concert arena, a train, and a historic village.
