1. Angel's BBQ—21 W. Oglethorpe Lane, Savannah, GA 31401
It might not look like much from the outside, but on the inside this brilliant BBQ joint boasts some insane flavors. Their sauces change so often, that there is always something new to try. 2. Little Bangkok—2225 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324
The prices are great, and the food is quick and fresh. Oh, and the spicy seafood soup is an absolute must here at Little Bangkok. Does life get any better than this? We think not! Featuring both Thai and Chinese options, their menu is a delight to pore over.
3. Hole in the Wall—90 Town Sq Blairsville, GA 30516
Well, the name pretty much sums it up, and definitely needs a spot on our list. BUT, this hot spot also creates some deliciously simple breakfasts that people travel far and wide to chow down on. This fantastic place has been a staple since 1931, and there’s a reason why!
4. Paul's Pot Pies—10 Mill St NE Marietta, GA 30060
You haven't had a pot pie until you've had Paul's Pot Pie. They make classic chicken and turkey pot pies and even more unique combinations of jambalaya and sloppy Joe. This hidden gem may just be one of the best restaurants in Georgia that serves pot pie! They’re so good they have two locations where you can get your fix.
5. The Square—25 1st St SE Moultrie, GA 31768
Many people are not too familiar with this little-known restaurant in Moultrie, Georgia. However, the reviews of the food are HUGE. Locals love it, and word of mouth is spreading to the visitors, too. A gorgeous spot, they’re open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Check out their gorgeous, farm to table menu on their website.
6. Skipper Johns—1210 Macon Rd Perry, GA 31069

7. Hunters Pub—11269 Ga Hwy 219 Hamilton, GA 31811
Its a no-frills type of place, with an insane selection of perfectly cooked steaks and seafood. Order the fried lobster tails and steak entree—you will not be disappointed. Actually, no matter what your order you won’t be disappointed. Their menu is filled with culinary delights! And they offering catering, too, so you can have this tasty food at your next big event.
8. Jonah’s Fish & Grits—109 E Jackson St Thomasville, GA 31792
Grits, shrimp, hush puppies, soup... those are just a few of the stars on the menu at Jonah’s. But it seems like enough to me! Their southern style flair has gotten them accolades in Southern Living, and their rated highly on TripAdvisor and Yelp!
