This Glass Tiny House In Georgia Is One Of The Coolest Places To Spend The Night

There are so many options for places to stay in Georgia that sometimes choosing accommodations can be the hardest part of planning a vacation or staycation. We've got quirky hotels, hidden mountain cabins, beachfront cottages... there are a lot to pick from. We've found one really interesting spot tucked away in Griffin that we definitely don't think you should throw stones at. Not only is this place made of glass, but it's also a tiny house: either one of those qualities would be special, but there aren't many places where you can have both! Check it out:

The glass tiny house is like nowhere else you've ever stayed before. This is the perfect place to relax and get away from your worries. A battery provides electricity for small electronics, and you've got plenty of lanterns to help with seeing in the dark.

There is no Wi-Fi, but don't fret, though. This is definitely more elevated than a typical primitive camping experience: you've got a memory foam queen-sized bed.

There's an outhouse (don't worry, it's not made of glass!) that contains a toilet and outdoor shower (cold water only).

There's also a delightful hot tub! The hot tub is heated via an internal stove that uses a fire.

You'll have plenty of privacy here. The tiny glass house is on 100 private acres. There are other nearby Airbnb units, but they're not within sight.

The glass house does have privacy curtains you can shut if you feel too exposed. Having glass walls can be tough to get used to!

There are plenty of board games on hand if you're in need of entertainment.

Reading a book by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, or taking a stroll down the wooded trails provide other opportunities for fun.

High Falls State Park is only about 20 minutes away.

This 1,000-acre park has waterfalls and five miles of hiking trails.

This is one of our favorite unique Airbnbs in Georgia. It's a great opportunity to camp with a little more luxury than you'd experience in a tent.

The Georgia Postcard Cabin is located in the little town of Suches, GA, and it offers a wonderfully tranquil escape.

The Postcard Cabins outpost in Suches, GA is made up of 30 cabins situated on 56 private acres. It's just a two-hour drive from Atlanta, but the lush, wooded views will make you feel a lifetime away from the city. Each of the Postcard Cabins is between 140-200 square feet. They all have a kitchenette with everything you need to prepare meals, plus a private bathroom, 1-2 queen beds, air conditioning, and heat.

Basically, they've got everything you need and nothing that you don't!

Ready to really disconnect? Postcard Cabins offer a cell phone lock box so you can put your phone away and reconnect with nature (or your loved ones, if you're traveling with a group). Speaking of loved ones, each Getaway cabin is dog-friendly, with an additional pet fee. Plus, the cabins come stocked with all the ingredients for s'mores over the outdoor fire pit.

Best of all, this area of the state has no shortage of outdoor attractions. Suches is not far from the Appalachian Trail, and there's lots of great hiking within a short drive of the Postcard Cabins outpost. Gooch Gap (pictured) is an excellent area for a trek with stellar views.

This private island five-star hotel is the stuff of fantasies, and it's no surprise that it's especially magical at Christmastime. It looks like it jumped straight off the pages of a fairy tale at any time of year, but seeing it all decked out for the holidays is a true bucket-list-worthy experience. If you're looking for a great way to celebrate holiday festivities in Georgia while spoiling yourself, it doesn't get much better than a winter visit here!

When Christmas comes to Georgia, many think of traveling to our northern regions, where you are more likely to see snow. But sipping hot chocolate by the beach and listening to the waves roll in is a pretty spectacular experience and one of the best parts about enjoying the holidays at the Cloister at Sea Island.

While you're not going to see snow and pine trees outside here, there's plenty of sand and palm trees laden with lights. The Cloister is one of the top-rated hotels in Georgia, and the entire hotel property gets decked out for Christmas. To start, the outside of the property boasts no fewer than 100,000 dazzling lights. As you walk inside the hotel, you'll notice nearly 3,000 feet of Christmas garland combined with 95 decorated Christmas trees. It would be nearly impossible to not fall into the holiday spirit here!

There are all kinds of events going on during the holidays, too. You'll find carolers, kids' activities, a family fun run, and so much more. There's even a reindog parade with dogs in their holiday best!

The little ones will love visits with Santa and fun events like the Polar Express Extravaganza that will keep them occupied while you're at the formal adult parties. Looking for something a little more low-key? You and your crew will love the chance to decorate gingerbread houses or attend cooking demonstrations. There's so much to see and do here during the holidays that it's almost overwhelming!
